Dear Readers, our moving day is fast approaching. It’s been a month fraught with tension! Just six days before having to leave our current home, we have finally bought a place in Hamilton. Slowly, we are inching our way back to Toronto, hopefully our final resting place. Of course, we now have to spend time at an Airbnb (which, for reasons beyond my understanding, I’ve always called an RBNB).
So, with another few weeks of transition and uncertainty ahead, I am setting up the next few chapters of The Unexpected and Fictional Career Change of Jim Kearns to arrive in your mailboxes on Saturdays with “Part 1: Before the Incident” finishing up by mid-August. I hope you will continue to read with me as Part 2 gets to the heart of Jim’s travails.
